a) New Air Terminal Building Apron Floodlighting Design
In association with SMS Engineering, D H Neill Design Services, worked with the electrical design team for a new 19 Aircraft Stand Floodlighting System. The facility project included electrical distribution system, flood light poles and lights. A computer aided lighting design program was used to efficiently layout the poles and meet labour and safety light level requirements for Apron work areas. The graphic above illustrates the light levels and glare cut off across the apron. In addition a line of sight obstruction and glair control analysis report was provided. b) Central De-Icing Facility In association with Acres International Ltd., D H Neill Design Services, worked with the electrical design team for a new 6 bay de-icing pad and glycol collection system. The facility included a normal and emergency electrical distribution system, flood lighting, glycol collection system control PLC, Fibre optic, copper and wireless lighting controls, edge and inset taxiway lighting. Vancouver International Airport (YVR)- Vancouver, BC Apron Flood Lighting Design In association with PSMI Engineering, D H Neill Design Services, worked with the electrical design team for a new 18 Aircraft Stand Floodlighting System. St.Johns International Airport - St.Johns, NFL Apron Flood Lighting Design In association with Hatch Mott MacDonald Ltd., D H Neill Design Services, worked with the electrical design team for a new 5 bay de-icing pad and glycol collection system. The facility included an electrical distribution system, flood lighting, glycol collection system, and wireless lighting controls, edge and inset taxiway lighting control system.
